• The Athena: Get to know Abbie Teasdale

In a flourishing batch of young talent coming through the women’s game in Australia, Abbie Teasdale has quickly established herself as a star of the future.

The 2018 WA Women’s Amateur champion aged just 15 years of age, Abbie earned status on the WPGA Tour of Australasia at Qualifying School in December and made her debut as a professional at Webex Players Series Perth.

The next week Abbie was a WPGA Tour of Australasia winner with a playoff victory over Jordan O’Brien at the Drummond Golf Melbourne International at Latrobe Golf Club.

The English Women’s Open Strokeplay champion in 2023, Abbie can fast-track her hopes of playing on the Ladies European Tour with a win at either of the three upcoming co-sanctioned events.

So before she takes her game to the world, get to know Abbie Teasdale.
