The Australians competing in this week`s final stage of Qualifying School have gotten off to a start solid.
Leading the way is Julia Boland who carded a one-under-par 71 at the LPGA International Golf Resort in Daytona Beach, Florida. Boland sits in a tie for 33rd. Breanna Elliott, Inhong Lim and Stacey Keating all shot rounds of even par rounds and share 48th position.
Frances Bondad, Stephanie Na and New Zealand`s Cathryn Bristow are all at one-over and tied for 67th. Rebecca Artis and Corie Hou are a further shot back and share 88th position. Emma de Groot is at three-over and tied for 106th, while Kristie Smith is at four-over and tied 120th position.
The final stage is over five rounds (90 holes), so there is plenty of time for the girls to climb up the leaderboard. American Jaye Marie Green fired an unbelievable 10 under par to sit at the top of the leaderboard and four clear of former winner on the LPGA, South Korean Seon Hwa Lee.
