• Nocera and Line shares the lead with Artis leading Australian
Gwladys Nocera

Former European No.1 Gwladys Nocera shot a four-under 68 on Friday to join the defending champion Line Vedel of Denmark in a share of the lead after the second round of the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open presented by Respect.

Playing in temperatures of 30c with hardly a breeze, first round co-leader Nikki Campbell’s second-round 78 was 11 shots worse than her opening 67, but the Australian LET rookie was still only seven shots from the lead in a share of 19th.

Rebecca Artis is the leading Australian in tied 7th position with a 3 under (69) today, posting a 2 under par total.

Whitney Hillier fired off a string of birdies to post a second round score of 2 under to move up to tied 19th position.

Unfortunately Bree Arthur, Alison Whitaker, Cathryn Bristow, Karen Lunn, Stephanie Na and Sarah King missed the cut.
